Discovering Ireland on a recent trip was one of my most interesting adventures. Yes, it is green! You can
see that in these photos. Away from the cities, the country is idyllic, and my camera was always in my hand.
Below you can see pictures of Dublin - streets, bridges, famous statues, and pubs. The seaside town of Bray
is an attractive summer resort. I loved Powerscourt House - its beautiful gardens where the tulips were brilliant,
its incredible statues, and the stunning lake. Travelling through County Wicklow to Glendalough is particularly
interesting, and the ruins of the Monastic Site fascinating. I particularly loved the country around Glendalough.
On to Kilkenny and Killarney, the Dingle Peninsular, Dingle, Adare, and the Ring of Kerry, as well as
the town of Sneem and the beautifully green Friar's Glen. I visited the appealing Rock of Cashel, and of
course the towns of Cashel, Tipperary and Limerick. The spectacular Cliffs of Moher are on everyone's
visiting list, with the adjacent barren fields of The Burren and the little village of Doolin. Oh for a plate of
Irish fish and chips!
